Semi Truck Crash Iowa Today in Iowa: The Guthrie County Sheriff's Office responded to a rollover accident on June 22, 2026, at approximately 12:47 p.m. A 2024 Western Star semi and tanker driven by 30-year-old Johnny Lawrence of Perry was traveling westbound on 315th Street between Sycamore and Ross Avenue when it left the roadway, entered the north ditch, and overturned onto its passenger side. No injuries were reported. Lawrence was cited for Failure to Maintain Control. The vehicle struck and broke a Guthrie County-owned curve indicator sign and destroyed a mailbox at 2692 Wagon Road.
