Fall Injury New Hampshire Today in New Hampshire: A 24-year-old hiker from Quebec fell approximately 50 feet on the Huntington Ravine Trail on Mount Washington in New Hampshire. New Hampshire Fish and Game was notified via 911 at approximately 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2026, after a caller reported the injured hiker roughly 0.20 miles below the Alpine Garden Trail junction on a steep slab in the upper reaches of the ravine. Due to the technical terrain, Fish and Game requested National Guard helicopter support and called in Mountain Rescue Service and Androscoggin Valley Search and Rescue. A paramedic was hoisted to the hiker, who was then flown to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
