Car Crash Utah Today in Utah: A pregnant passenger died Sunday afternoon after the driver of a 2000 GMC Sierra pickup drifted into oncoming traffic on State Route 16 near milepost 23 in Box Elder County, Utah, and struck a northbound 2020 Ford F-150. The front passenger of the Sierra, who was eight months pregnant, was transported by medical helicopter to a hospital with serious injuries; the baby was later determined to be deceased. The Utah Highway Patrol suspects the Sierra driver fell asleep, causing the drift across the center line. No other injuries were reported.
