Hit And Run Indiana Today in Indiana: Phillip Land, 45, of Knox, was found dead alongside a rural roadway in Starke County, Indiana, on Saturday, June 27, 2026. Deputies were dispatched just before 6 p.m. to the area of County Road 350 West and County Road 500 South, near North Judson, after a report of an unresponsive person lying beside the road. Investigators determined Land's injuries indicated he had been struck by a vehicle, and detectives believe the suspect vehicle is a black 2016–2024 Nissan Titan XD pickup truck with front passenger-side damage.
