Assault Kittanning Pennsylvania in Kittanning, Pennsylvania: Rosalind Cooper, 79, was found dead after a stabbing at a home on Schenley Road in Gilpin Township, Armstrong County, Pennsylvania, early Sunday evening. According to a criminal complaint, Cooper's son told police that his wife, Mengqi Zhang, 37, returned to their home on Schenley Road and said she had stabbed his mother. State police set up a perimeter and called the Special Emergency Response Team; Zhang eventually exited the home and was taken into custody around 1:20 a.m. Monday. Zhang is charged with homicide and aggravated assault.
