Pedestrian Hit Venice Florida in Venice, Florida: Venice police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run crash that killed a Bradenton man on Friday night around 10 p.m. Aidlier Meyer, 31, of Bradenton, was crossing the street on foot when he was struck by a car traveling north on the U.S. 41 Bypass at Venice Avenue. The driver left the area, and Meyer died from his injuries. Investigators are working to identify the driver involved.
