Pedestrian hospitalized after hit-and-run in Miami Gardens

Hit And Run Miami Gardens Florida in Miami Gardens, Florida: A male pedestrian was struck by the driver of a light blue sedan while walking northbound on the sidewalk along the east side of 47th Avenue, just south of 183rd Street, in Miami Gardens, Florida, just before 9 p.m. on Sunday. Miami Gardens Police and Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded to the scene, which Miami-Dade Fire Rescue called a 'mass casualty incident' and which extended across several blocks from Northwest 183rd Street to 191st Street. Paramedics transported the injured pedestrian to Aventura Hospital. The driver fled the scene, and police have not released the victim's age as the investigation continues.
