Car Crash Critical Condition Carlton Minnesota in critical condition Carlton, Minnesota: A single-vehicle crash in Thomson Township, north of Esko, on June 28 left one male occupant dead and another male in critical condition. The Carlton County Sheriff's Office said deputies responded to the report just before 6:30 p.m. and found the vehicle off the roadway near the intersection of Thomson Road and Kangas Road. One male was pronounced deceased at the scene, while the other was airlifted to a hospital in critical condition. No other vehicles were involved.
