Car Crash Esko Minnesota in Esko, Minnesota: One person was killed and another was airlifted in critical condition following a single-vehicle crash in Thomson Township, north of Esko, on June 28. Deputies from the Carlton County Sheriff's Office responded to the report just before 6:30 p.m. and located the vehicle, which had left the roadway near the intersection of Thomson Road and Kangas Road. One male was pronounced deceased at the scene, while the other male was airlifted to a hospital in critical condition. No other vehicles were involved.
