Car Crash Oak Lawn Illinois in Oak Lawn, Illinois: Illinois State Police responded to a crash at 4:46 a.m. on the northbound lanes of I-57 near 127th Street. A preliminary investigation found that a passenger vehicle and an IDOT SUV that had pulled over to the shoulder after a prior accident were both struck by another vehicle. Jocilyn Buckley, 27, of Oak Lawn, was transported to Ingalls Memorial Hospital, where she was pronounced deceased. An IDOT worker was also transported with injuries to a hospital. Both northbound lanes were shut down for the investigation.
