Drowning Beacon New York in Beacon, New York: A 34-year-old Newburgh man died after cliff diving into Fishkill Creek in Beacon, New York. On June 25 at 7:34 p.m., City of Beacon Police, Fire and EMS were dispatched to the area near 508 Fishkill Ave. for a report of a person who dove into the creek and did not resurface. Witnesses said Vincent Javinett jumped off the cliff into the water and failed to surface after several minutes, leading police to conclude there was no chance of survival.
