Police Pursuit Crash Minnesota Today in Minnesota: Minnesota experienced a surge in traffic deaths over a four-day period ahead of the July 4 holiday weekend, with at least six people killed in separate crashes across the state. The fatalities included a fiery single-vehicle crash in Eagan involving an SUV that left an I-35E ramp, became airborne, struck a traffic light and burst into flames; a single-vehicle crash between Cloquet and Duluth that killed one of two male occupants from Barnum; a head-on crash in northern Minnesota that killed two women; a rollover crash northeast of Marshall that killed an unbelted 64-year-old driver, Francis Albert Rohlik of Redwood Falls, during a law enforcement pursuit; and a rural southwestern Minnesota collision in which Sean Goodman of Slayton ran a stop sign and was killed when his vehicle struck a southbound semi, injuring three others who were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
