Assault Del Rio Texas in Del Rio, Texas: On June 25, 2026, 32-year-old Caroline Peña, a mother of five, was stabbed multiple times in broad daylight in Del Rio, Texas. She was transported to Val Verde Regional Medical Center and then to a medical facility in San Antonio for emergency treatment, but died from her injuries at around 9 p.m. Sisters Kitty Mia Diaz, 21, and Amaya Cookie Diaz, 19, along with Kyandra Renee Faz, 21, were arrested and charged with murder after surveillance footage and witness interviews linked them to the crime.
