Moped driver killed in intersection crash in Lexington Coun…

Motorcycle Crash South Carolina Today in South Carolina: Russel Fowler, 40, of Pelion, was riding a moped southbound on Caulks Ferry Road around 9:25 p.m. Saturday when a vehicle traveling eastbound on Old Charleston Road struck the moped at the intersection. Fowler was reportedly not wearing a helmet and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and passenger of the vehicle were not injured and remained at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
