Mercer County woman arrested after family dispute stabbing…

Assault Lashmeet West Virginia in Lashmeet, West Virginia: West Virginia State Police were dispatched at approximately 2:27 p.m. on June 21 to a reported stabbing at a residence on Jasper Street in Lashmeet. Crystal Tooley was identified as the suspect and detained after reportedly fleeing to her mother's nearby residence. Investigators say the stabbing occurred during a family argument, and Thomas Tooley was stabbed in his right side with a knife during a struggle; he declined emergency medical treatment. Crystal Tooley was arrested and taken to Southern Regional Jail to await arraignment.
