Boating Accident California Today in California: Lance Cpl. Armando Ortiz Canseco, a 21-year-old Marine from Minnesota, was reported missing on June 25, 2026 while serving aboard the amphibious transport dock USS Anchorage off the southern coast of California during integrated training with the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit. A 43-hour search by Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force and Coast Guard personnel failed to locate him, and the Navy switched to recovery operations on the evening of June 26.
