Assault Cold Spring Minnesota in Cold Spring, Minnesota: An adult man was fatally stabbed Saturday evening on the 400 block of 8th Avenue North in Cold Spring, Minnesota. Officers were called to the scene just after 8:30 p.m. on a report of an assault and found the victim with an apparent stab wound. Law enforcement and medical personnel attempted lifesaving measures, but he was pronounced dead at the scene. A man at the residence was taken into custody and is being held at the Stearns County Jail pending formal charges. The Cold Spring/Richmond Police Department is investigating.
