Assault Mexico Missouri in Mexico, Missouri: A man was taken into custody after an alleged stabbing incident at the 100 block of South Jefferson Street in Mexico, Missouri, at 12:32 a.m. on Monday. Three people were injured with a knife during a fight that broke out after others attempted to remove the suspect from a stage. One victim suffered two stab wounds to the chest and two additional stab wounds, resulting in a hemothorax requiring emergency surgery at a local hospital, while two others were stabbed in the hands and legs and treated at the scene by EMS. The suspect, LeCoque, fled on foot but later contacted authorities to provide his location, and a knife with blood on it was found in a dumpster outside the establishment. LeCoque was charged with First-Degree Assault Causing Serious Physical Injury, two counts of First-Degree Assault, three counts of Armed Criminal Action, and Unlawful Use of a Weapon, and was booked into the Audrain County Jail without bond.
