Shooting Jacksonville Florida in Jacksonville, Florida: A man believed to be between 20 and 25 years old was fatally shot in the playground area of the Victory Pointe Apartments in the Normandy Village neighborhood on Jacksonville's Westside. The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office received reports of a shooting on Ramona Boulevard and upgraded the call to a person shot at the apartment complex, west of Lane Avenue. Officers found the man fatally wounded when they arrived; he died at the scene. JSO is working to identify the victim and determine whether he lived in the complex, and is searching for the shooter.
