Man fatally stabs armed robber in self-defense in Berkeley…

Police Pursuit Crash Old Wing South Carolina in Old Wing, South Carolina: A man was shot twice, chased into nearby woods, and pistol-whipped by Harry Phillips during an attempted armed robbery near Old Wing Road in the St. Stephen area of rural Berkeley County, South Carolina. After Phillips ran out of ammunition, the victim pulled out a knife and stabbed Phillips once in the chest, killing him. Berkeley County detectives, after consulting with the Ninth Circuit Solicitor's Office, ruled Phillips' death a justifiable homicide. Olivia Catherine Nance, 34, of Andrews, was charged with obstruction of justice for allegedly driving away in the victim's vehicle instead of calling 911.
