Shooting Las Vegas Nevada in Las Vegas, Nevada: Abdul Muhammad, 39, is accused of firing 17 shots at a vehicle outside a northeast Las Vegas laundromat on June 18, killing 24-year-old Marquis Perkins and injuring his girlfriend, who was shot in the thigh. A 2-year-old child inside the vehicle was not injured. Muhammad was charged with open murder, two counts of attempted murder, carrying a concealed weapon without a permit, and being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm, and was ordered held without bail after a June 25 court appearance.
