Car Crash Mabank Texas in Mabank, Texas: Mabank Fire Chief Charlie Woodard was struck and killed while directing traffic at a community rodeo on Saturday night around 10:30 p.m. According to Texas DPS, Woodard stepped into the westbound lane of US Business 175 near the rodeo grounds and was hit by a Chevrolet pickup truck. He was transported to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. The driver of the Chevy truck was not injured.
