Car Crash Mabank Texas in Mabank, Texas: Mabank Fire Chief Charles Woodard died Saturday night after being struck by a vehicle while directing traffic, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety. DPS troopers said Woodard stepped into the road when he was hit by a Chevy pickup truck. He was transported to a hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
