Car Crash California Today in California: Ed Walker, an Anderson Valley man, died after the Kenworth logging truck he was driving crashed into a redwood tree on State Route 128 near Navarro in Mendocino County. The single-vehicle crash occurred around 1:50 p.m. on a Wednesday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol's Ukiah Area office. Walker was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency personnel. The CHP said the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
