Dui Crash Ashwaubenon Wisconsin in Ashwaubenon, Wisconsin: Laney Peters, 21, was convicted on June 29, 2026, for a drunken driving crash that occurred on June 24, 2024, on State Highway 172 near Oneida Street in Ashwaubenon, Wisconsin. Peters pleaded no contest to two counts of homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle and one count of injury by intoxicated use of a vehicle. Two passengers, Emma Daniels, 18, and Mee-Mingwaa Phillips, 19, were killed in the crash. Police were called to the highway at 5:51 a.m. for a car in the ditch, and Peters admitted she had been drinking before the crash. Sentencing is scheduled for Aug. 25.
