JetBlue plane struck by drone on approach to JFK Airport

Car Crash New York Today in New York: A JetBlue pilot reported that the aircraft was hit by a drone at approximately 3,000 feet while on approach to John F. Kennedy International Airport. The pilot told air traffic control the drone struck right above the cockpit. Passengers were able to disembark before the plane was pulled from service. The FAA is investigating the incident.
