Hit-and-run driver kills 19-year-old utility worker in Aiken

Hit And Run South Carolina Today in South Carolina: A 19-year-old utility worker was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Aiken, South Carolina at 5:34 a.m. Officers responding to reports of two men down in the street found the victim and a passenger-side mirror from a 2007-2013 Chevrolet truck or SUV. Video footage showed a dark-colored truck struck the victims and continued driving. Charles Blase Engasser, 39, of Aiken, turned himself in at Aiken Department of Public Safety headquarters at 3:06 p.m. and admitted to driving the Chevrolet pickup and hitting the men. He is being held without bond in Aiken County jail.
