Shooting Kansas City Missouri in Kansas City, Missouri: Four teenagers were killed in two separate shootings at The Depot at Old Santa Fe apartments in south Kansas City, Missouri, within 16 days. On June 11, 2026, 17-year-old Rontez Donahue and 18-year-old Dion Sims-Bey were shot and killed, and a baby on the first floor was also shot but survived. On a Saturday night in late June, 16-year-old Brandon Henderson Jr. and 18-year-old Dylan Boykin were shot and killed at the same complex. Tenants reported the complex gate is left open at all hours and security cameras were only installed a week ago. Police had no suspects in custody in either case, and the Youth Peace and Justice Foundation offered a $5,000 reward for information.
