Fall Injury South Carolina Today in South Carolina: Richard Crowe, a former Pickens County 911 communications director and EMT, died Tuesday night after a riding lawnmower went over a 15- to 20-foot cliff and landed on top of him, authorities said. The Pickens County Coroner's Office said Crowe was found at the bottom of the cliff underneath the mower. Officials have not yet determined whether he suffered a medical emergency before the crash. His death marks the third lawnmower-related death in the Upstate in recent weeks and the second in Pickens County.
