Explosion destroys Twisters Ice Cream in Grand Rapids
Vehicle Fire Grand Rapids Michigan in Grand Rapids, Michigan: An apparent explosion destroyed the Twisters Ice Cream building at the intersection of Fulton Street and Lane Avenue in Grand Rapids, Michigan, around 1 a.m. on Monday. The Grand Rapids Fire Department said crews arrived within two minutes but found the structure was already a catastrophic loss. The building was vacant at the time and no injuries were reported. Fire Marshal Bill Smith said early reports point to an explosion, and the cause remains under investigation.
