Car Crash Alabama Today in Alabama: A 2013 Honda Odyssey was hit by a 2016 Jeep Patriot driven by a 17-year-old around 5:20 a.m. on June 28 at the intersection of Alabama 189 and Crenshaw County 43, about six miles southeast of Brantley. A passenger in the Honda Odyssey, Juan Lopez Martinez, 59, of Enterprise, was killed and pronounced dead at the scene; he was not wearing a seat belt. The van's driver, Amilcar Sacul Sergio, 27, of Enterprise, was injured and taken to Baptist Medical Center South in Montgomery, and the teen driver of the Jeep Patriot was also injured and taken to an area hospital. The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency says the crash remains under investigation.
