Dui Crash Hardin Kentucky in Hardin, Kentucky: A single-vehicle crash in flooded conditions on Bewley Hollow Road in Hardin County, Kentucky, killed a juvenile and led to charges against the driver. According to Kentucky State Police Post Four, David Rhodes of Elizabethtown lost control of his vehicle in an area impacted by heavy rainfall and flooding on the evening of June 27, 2026, causing the vehicle to overturn and become partially submerged in a flooded creek. Rhodes and two juveniles were trapped inside; all three were initially taken to Baptist Health Hardin, where Rhodes and one juvenile were treated for minor injuries and released. The other juvenile sustained life-threatening injuries, was transferred to Norton Children's Hospital in Louisville, and was pronounced dead on Sunday. Rhodes was arrested Saturday and charged with First Degree Assault and Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of Alcohol, with additional charges forthcoming.
