Semi Truck Crash Georgia Today in Georgia: A 2020 Chevrolet Silverado turning right from Pony Lake Road onto South Chestatee Street was struck on the driver's side by a 2026 Peterbilt dump truck traveling north on South Chestatee Street at the Georgia 60/Pony Lake Road intersection in Lumpkin County on Saturday morning. After impact, the Silverado traveled onto the south shoulder of SR 60, struck an embankment, and overturned onto its passenger side, while the dump truck continued into a ditch. A juvenile in the Silverado was airlifted to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta by LifeFlight; all other occupants of both vehicles were taken to a local hospital, with all Silverado occupants believed to have serious injuries.
