Pedestrian Hit Atlanta Georgia in Atlanta, Georgia: A 50-year-old woman was killed after a driver allegedly struck her while driving through Downtown Atlanta early Sunday morning. Atlanta Police said Marie Bahindwa, 28, was driving a Jeep southbound across Courtland Avenue when she hit a pedestrian in the roadway. Officers arrived at the scene around 2:49 a.m. and pronounced the woman dead at the scene. Bahindwa remained at the scene with her Jeep and was charged with DUI.
