Driver seriously injured after Subaru crashes into utility…

Car Crash Middlebury Vermont in Middlebury, Vermont: David Fleming, 51, of Bristol, was driving a Subaru on Vermont Route 116 in Middlebury on Sunday night when his vehicle left the roadway, went into a ditch, struck a utility pole and a berm, and landed on its roof back on the roadway. First responders treated Fleming at the scene before transporting him to the University of Vermont Medical Center, where he was reported in critical condition. Police said the crash remains under investigation, but alcohol and speed are believed to have played a part.
