Car Crash San Antonio Texas in San Antonio, Texas: A 19-year-old driver accused of racing on Southwest Military Drive struck and killed a pedestrian late Sunday night, according to San Antonio police. The driver, identified as Vynzell McGarity, was racing another vehicle in the 1100 block of Southwest Military Drive when he changed lanes and hit the pedestrian crossing the street. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. McGarity was arrested and charged with racing causing serious bodily injury or death, a second-degree felony. The Bexar County Medical Examiner's Office will identify the victim and determine cause and manner of death.
