Pedestrian Hit Burlington North Carolina in Burlington, North Carolina: A 34-year-old Durham man struck two pedestrians crossing the 2400 block of North Church Street at US-70 in Burlington on June 20, around 9:21 p.m. One pedestrian, 53-year-old Curtis Lee Ridgeway of Burlington, was pronounced dead at the scene. A 55-year-old Burlington woman was taken to a hospital in critical condition and remained hospitalized, according to Burlington police.
