A construction crew was performing a lane closure operation when a scorpion truck, due to its substantial length, had to be moved in reverse; while backing up, the truck struck and killed a fellow construction worker. The driver, who works for the same construction company, remained at the scene and told officers he was using his mirrors and being as cautious as possible.
