Brookfield man killed in ATV crash in Brookfield woods

Car Crash Brookfield Connecticut in Brookfield, Connecticut: Francis M. Flanagan III, 66, of Brookfield, died after crashing an ATV into the woods near Candlewood Shores Road in Brookfield on a Friday night. Officers responding to a missing person report found he had crashed the ATV and was pronounced dead at the scene. The state Office of the Chief Medical Examiner determined he died of blunt force trauma to the torso and ruled his death an accident. The Brookfield Police Department's Accident Investigation Team is investigating the incident.
