Bicyclist Bailey Caldwell killed in crash on 4000 East Road…

Bicycle Crash Manteno Illinois in Manteno, Illinois: A 29-year-old bicyclist, Bailey C. Caldwell of Bourbonnais, was killed in a crash with a car on 4000 East Road, approximately 1.5 miles north of 6000 North Road, east of Manteno, Illinois. Kankakee County sheriff's deputies responded to the scene around 7:40 a.m. on Monday and found the bicyclist unconscious in the roadway. The Manteno Fire Protection District transported the victim to a local hospital, where he died from his injuries. Part of 4000 East Road was closed for several hours while emergency personnel processed the scene.
