Car Crash Abilene Texas in Abilene, Texas: A 49-year-old Abilene man was struck and killed by a Union Pacific train just after 2 a.m. on June 27 in the 1900 block of South First Street, near the Sayles Boulevard railroad crossover. The train conductor contacted dispatch after reporting the train had struck a person on the tracks. The Abilene Police Department is investigating and has not released additional details about what led up to the incident.
