Pedestrian Hit Las Vegas Nevada in Las Vegas, Nevada: An 8-year-old child was taken to a local hospital in critical condition after being hit by a vehicle on Sunday night, June 28, 2026, around 9:30 p.m. Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department officers responded to the intersection of North Las Vegas Boulevard and North Lamb Boulevard, where the child was crossing Las Vegas Boulevard outside of a marked or implied crosswalk west of the Lamb intersection. A 2011 Hyundai Elantra driven by a 31-year-old woman was traveling north on Las Vegas Boulevard when the front of the vehicle struck the child, propelling them onto the roadway. The driver remained at the scene and showed no signs of impairment, and the collision remains under investigation.
