Pedestrian Hit Simi Valley California in Simi Valley, California: Simi Valley police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred Monday afternoon in the Target parking lot on Tierra Rejada Road. A 79-year-old Agoura Hills woman walking on the sidewalk in front of Urbane Cafe was struck by a vehicle that had left the travel lane of the parking lot and was pronounced dead at the scene. Five others were injured, including the Thousand Oaks driver who was hospitalized with moderate injuries and three juvenile occupants who suffered minor injuries. Police said there is no evidence that drugs or alcohol played a factor in the crash.
