Car Crash Port St Lucie Florida in Port St Lucie, Florida: A 78-year-old Port St. Lucie woman died after a parked Lincoln MKX rolled backward in a residential driveway and struck her with its open driver's door. Florida Highway Patrol troopers said her 59-year-old son was sitting in the front passenger seat and reached across the center console to press the brake pedal with his left hand and push the start button with his right hand. The crash occurred just before 11 a.m. Sunday, and the woman was transported to Lawnwood Regional Medical Center & Heart Institute, where she was pronounced dead at 11:19 a.m.
