Shooting Winston-Salem North Carolina in Winston-Salem, North Carolina: A 7-year-old boy was killed on June 28, 2026, after a gun discharged inside a residence in the 2800 block of North Glenn Avenue in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Police said two juveniles were alone in the home when they found a firearm and, while handling the weapon, it discharged and struck the 7-year-old.
