Car Crash Winterset Iowa in Winterset, Iowa: A 69-year-old man, identified as Bane, was killed while working alone on his family farm in Madison County. According to the Madison County Sheriff's Office, deputies were called at approximately 9:17 p.m. on June 25 to the 3000 block of Heritage Avenue, about 12 miles southwest of Winterset, for a report of an injured adult male. Bane suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The Winterset Fire Department, Madison County Ambulance, Iowa State Patrol, and the Madison County Medical Examiner's Office assisted at the scene.
