Car Crash Alexandria Minnesota in Alexandria, Minnesota: A 62-year-old Alexandria man was injured in a single-vehicle rollover crash on the morning of June 28. The Douglas County Sheriff's Office was notified at about 6:06 a.m. of a crash at the intersection of County Road 34 NW and Arrowwood Drive NW, reported through OnStar. Deputies found a red Buick passenger car resting on its side with severe damage; the driver, the sole occupant, was trapped inside and had to be extricated by the Alexandria Fire Department. He was transported by North Memorial Ambulance to Alomere Health for medical evaluation. A preliminary investigation indicates the crash was likely caused by a sudden medical emergency the driver experienced, which caused the vehicle to leave the roadway into a corn field and overturn in a ditch along Arrowwood Drive NW.
