Assault Carson Nevada in Carson, Nevada: A 52-year-old man, Jose Weston Ramirez, was arrested Saturday on suspicion of felony battery with a deadly weapon after allegedly stabbing a male victim in the right thigh in a parking lot near the Walmart pharmacy drive-thru on the 3200 block of Market Street in Carson City. Deputies were called at 9:11 p.m. and located the victim with a stab wound to the leg; the injury was not life-threatening. The suspect told deputies he acted in self-defense after being placed in a chokehold during an argument about music.
