Car Crash Missouri Today in Missouri: A single-vehicle crash occurred at approximately 2:40 p.m. on June 28, 2026, in the 21000 block of Highway J in Phelps County, Missouri. The driver overcorrected, causing the car to travel off the left side of the roadway before overcorrecting again. A 29-year-old Rolla woman riding as a passenger died at the scene and was pronounced dead by the Phelps County Coroner. The 21-year-old Rolla man driving the Toyota, who was not wearing a seat belt, was transported by Phelps Health Ambulance to Phelps Health Hospital for treatment. The Missouri State Highway Patrol investigated the crash.
