Car Crash Avila Beach California in Avila Beach, California: A 27-year-old man was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 101 near Avila Beach on Tuesday shortly after 11 p.m. The man, identified by the California Highway Patrol as Gary Noe Arias of Santa Maria, was driving a Toyota truck southbound near San Luis Bay Drive when the truck veered up an embankment, rolled down, and landed on top of a BMW. Arias was pronounced dead at the scene, and the driver of the BMW suffered minor injuries. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
